モザンビークは2007にWHO（世界保健機関）が定めたハンセン病患者が国レベルで人口1万人あたり1人未満という制圧目標を達成。北部ナンプラ州がハンセン病の高蔓延地域。ナンプラ州ムルプラ市のヘルスポストの職員がMDT（ハンセン病治療薬）の配布を行っていた。

Mozambique achieved the elimination of leprosy as a public health problem (defined by the WHO as a prevalence rate of less than 1 case per 10,000 people) in 2007. Nampula Province in the north of the country is an area of high endemicity. These photos were taken in 2006 when a health post worker was distributing MDT.
